| Most solid organ transplant recipients will develop skin cancer. While skin cancer can be prevented and easily treated when caught early, serious skin cancer can reduce the quality of life and be life-threatening for some organ recipients. The AT-RISC Alliance is dedicated to reducing the incidence and severity of skin cancer in organ transplant recipients through educational and awareness efforts. |
